Enjoy your time at the association beach, rental comes with use of a canoe, with life jackets. Just bring your own fishing poles and tackle and enjoy the offerings of Josephs Pond. Dont feel like you have to leave your four legged family members at home because this home is pet friendly with a fully fenced-in backyard. Loved the open layout of the home and access to beautiful Joseph’s Pond. We spent most of our time enjoying that. Aside from the pond, you do need to drive pretty much everywhere- there isn’t very safe pedestrian access out of the community.

We loved the house, its fenced in backyard for our two dogs, its location right on the pond with kayaks and a canoe, and the friendly neighborhood. Harwich is a great area, and is centrally located to all parts of the Cape.We found that the cleaners had not done a thorough job after the prior occupants and this started us off feeling disappointed rather than excited. We reported this to the property management and it was addressed immediately. We also pointed out a few relatively minor maintenance items, and super-friendly handyman Dan was there immediately to fix. After that it was smooth sailing, and we actually extended from 4 to 5 weeks.

The home was very clean and all that was needed was provided. The kitchen was user friendly, and we appreciated the good sized refrigerator and outdoor grill. We spent the majority of our time on the large deck enjoying the scenery. There is ample room for guests to sleep, eat and relax. The neighborhood is quiet, and is a nice place for walks. Our dog enjoyed the fenced in yard. The location of the house was very convenient, and we found great local restaurants, shops, trails and beaches to visit.

Even though I'd been working from home since March, it was so nice to get away to a change if scenery. We had a lovely stay, relaxing, perfect location and our dogs loved the yard and the beach! We had all kinds of weather; hot, cool, a little rain but it was perfect. Beautiful time of year. We mostly stayed close by and did takeout or delivery or cooked in - especially with the current situation, but it was exactly what we needed! We definitely want to come back! We wished we could have stayed longer.

A beautiful well-maintained home on a serene pond. A wonderful getaway from all of the COVID-19 madness. Shops and restaurants in the town are mostly open and are following quarantine rules and mask-wearing guidelines.
